AJ Green is returning to the lineup tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteDidn’t realize he was out, but has been out since Oct. 28 with a toe injury. That explains some of their fall off from the start of the season, but they always start hot and fall off.
Green will give them a lift, but with a rookie QB starting, I hope we send a major dose of blitzes the entire game designed to rattle the hell out of him and put the ball up in the air to be picked off or on the ground from forced fumbles.
Driscoll actually isn't a rookie. He was drafted in 2016 and is 25 years old. This year was his first regular season action though. In under a games worth of downs this year he has under 250 passing yards and 1 TD. However, he also has 50 yards rushing and two TDs. Coming out of college they labeled him as mistake prone. I like our chances, even with Green back. Stopping Mixon and a running QB should be the priority.
DeleteGoing to be in Costa Rica for 2 weeks. Up to you guys to bring home some victories.
ReplyDeleteOk, we'll do our best.
DeleteWhat's in Costa Rica?
Broncos declared LB Shaquil Barrett, CB Tramaine Brock, G Nico Faleh, LB Jeff Holland, G/C Sam Jones, LB Brandon Marshall, and DE DeMarcus Walker inactive for Week 13 against the Bengals.
ReplyDeleteNo surprises here. The Broncos are short a few notable defenders, but will have the luxury of rushing Jeff Driskel without LTs Cordy Glenn (back, out), Jake Fisher (back, IR), and Cedric Ogbuehi (healthy scratched). Rookie DE Bradley Chubb could feast on default starter Clint Boling.
I'm here, we get the ball to start.
ReplyDelete2 bad passes by Kee kills the drive on CINs 45. Downed on Cin 5.
ReplyDeleteStop Cin on our 46, we get the ball.
ReplyDeleteChris Harris down, doesn't look good, he may not be back.
DeleteWe start at our 20.
DeleteHope CHj isn't a serious injury... but the way he was helped off, not good.
Delete3 & out Den... we need to step up on both sides of the ball.
ReplyDeletewow doesnt sound good for Harris
ReplyDeletegood to see our offense cant move the ball
ReplyDeleteI don't know about good to see, but normal
DeleteWe stop them, our ball, should be decent position. Nope, they got a good roll, on our 20.
ReplyDeleteIm guessing my app is wrong, because it said Chris Harris downed the ball on the punt.
ReplyDeletesorry wrong C Harris.
DeleteHarris is getting x-rays.
Delete0-0 at the end of 1st qt.
ReplyDeleteat least we didnt give up any points
Deleteyup, a 3 qt game now.
Deletelow scoring games so far today across the NFL.
ReplyDeleteand time to punt again
ReplyDelete3 & out for Den
ReplyDeleteThankfully the Bengles want to be as bad on O as us
ReplyDeleteOops, Bungles...
Deleteshelby harris with the big sack
ReplyDeleteSack by Harris!
ReplyDeleteat least we will have decent field position after they punt
ReplyDeleteYa, for what good it might do.
DeleteKee has to get better. He doesn't get on page until the end.
DeleteAJ out so that evens CHj going down.
Deleteat least if we win the field position battle we may eventually be in position to kick a game winning FG to win 3-0
DeleteLOL! Yup, McMoney our MVP on offense.
DeleteWe got it on our 38.
ReplyDeleteCase’s completion % is getting so bad he cant even complete an INT
ReplyDeleteWOW, Kee completes one, while being sacked as usual

Deleteyep see. Case sacked
ReplyDeletetakes us out of good FG range and McManus misses
ReplyDeleteWould someone please kick Muskgrave in the nuts? PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteI'd say Mc but he'd prolly miss...
DeleteOr get hurt
DeleteIf we're gonna give up half our team to injury, we'd better get a W for it.
ReplyDeleteYa, imitation is so flattering!
ReplyDeleteAnother sack by Harris and Von... meet ya at the QB
ReplyDelete3rd and 29 for Cin
ReplyDeletepenalty 3rd and 39 now
ReplyDeleteIt is being reported that Chris Harris likely has a broken fibula and will be heading to IR
ReplyDeleteWhy do our returners always run 30-40 yds only to gain 3-4?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely have to do something with this good field position now
ReplyDeleteJust keep feeding Lindsay the ball
ReplyDeleteLindsay carrying our O on his short shoulders.
ReplyDeleteSutton having a bad game.
ReplyDeleteBig pass, penalty though... on Cin
ReplyDeleteBooker wit 2 nice catches - we're near their 5
ReplyDeleteTime to get the gun out and shoot our feet
DeleteKee passes best when he doesn't have time to think.
ReplyDeleteLindsay will walk in
ReplyDeleteCalled IT!

DeleteTD lindsay!
ReplyDeleteThis game is over
ReplyDeleteNow get a pick 6
ReplyDeleteC'mon INT!
ReplyDeleteI’ll take another interception in the end zone her
Deletehere
DeleteHaha. Best comment ever. Nothing going right, it went left.
ReplyDeleteLet’s hope we hold them to a field goal attempt and it to goes left
ReplyDeleteSo what will our D come up with during the TO? Let them score anyway possible?
ReplyDelete7-3 Denver.
ReplyDeleteAt he half.
DeleteWe'll take a knee
ReplyDeleteKeenum seems to be best when he’s on his knees
DeletePractice, practice, practice!
DeleteIf only he practiced throwing to his receivers more
DeleteWill Kee ever have a game where he scores early and often?
ReplyDeletemaybe for the other team
DeleteI think he did that earlier in the season didn’t he with all of the INT’s
DeleteJewell out too? 4 players down, we gettin skinny.
ReplyDeleteI think that is why Todd Davis is playing
Delete143yds on the 1st half for the Broncs? Hmmmm
ReplyDelete3 & out for Cin... we got the ball on our 25
ReplyDeleteMake that 18
DeleteTime for Kee to wake up from his normal 1st half naps.
ReplyDeleteGood to see we come out on fire on offense in the second half. oh wait, It’s not opposite day so a three and out is not a good thing
ReplyDeleteNot only is this game boring, it's...boring.
ReplyDeletei disagree. i think its boring and im not even able to watch it
DeleteWe got the ball if it isn't a penalty.
ReplyDeleteWe got the ball
Deletewoohoo
DeleteLooks like our STs are gonna try to give it to Kee with a gimme
ReplyDeleteSutton TD!
ReplyDeleteTD sutton!
ReplyDelete14-3 Denver
ReplyDeleteHave to give it to Kee, that pass was right on and a great catch by Sutton
ReplyDeleteAnd our D doing it's best to give the 7 back to Cin
ReplyDeleteI have to say, our D has gone WAAAAAY down under Woods.
DeleteINT Simmons! We got the ball on our 11

ReplyDeleteI don't know about you guys but I've got Cincy announcers and it's nauseating
ReplyDeleteFreeman fumbles
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, whistle should have been blown before Freeman got mugged by 4 Cin players.
Deleteend of 3rd qt
ReplyDeleteWOW, Davis kills them for a nice loss
ReplyDeleteWe got it back on our 22
ReplyDeleteOr is it 26 ?
DeleteKee sacked
ReplyDeleteWe get a nothingburger
DeleteVon with a sack, yes!
ReplyDeleteGood to see Keenum has just over above a 50% completion percentage for the game
ReplyDeleteYa, he's getting better isn't he?
DeleteFeed Lindsay the rock on every play the rest of the game And be done with it
ReplyDeleteWe got the ball on our 20. Kee just needs to protect the ball and close it out. Time for heavy does of Free/Lind
ReplyDeleteIf we do that he may damn near get close to 200 yards
ReplyDeletehe has 157 already
ReplyDeleteRoyce fading as games go by
ReplyDeleteNice catch by Sutton on short pass by Kee.
ReplyDeletesutton for 31 yards
ReplyDeletelimps off the field. hope nothing wrong
DeleteWe gonna punt with 3:22 left.
ReplyDeleteGot em on their 15... now the D needs to feed.
DeleteChubb already at the table...
DeleteChubb gets to em, fumble and he recovers!
ReplyDeletechubb sack fumble recovery
ReplyDeleteI think we got this... Only question is if we score again.
ReplyDeleteHarris injury being reported as season ending... big price for the W
ReplyDeleteMc PAT good, 24-10 Denver
ReplyDelete24-10 victory. Third straight win and brings the record to 6-6
ReplyDeleteWhen we score 23 or more, we win.
ReplyDeleteexcept for when we play the Rams or KC. Then we lose
DeleteActually I hit the wrong key, that's supposed to be 24.
DeleteStill wrong though, I guess if I'd said when we win, it's when we score 23 or more
DeleteOops, we beat the Raiders 20-19... don't mind my babbling, we won and I'm in shock so I'm not responsible for what comes out of my head!
DeleteIndy lost so we're tied with them behind Balt for a berth. Balt has KC next week.
ReplyDeleteGood win but costly with injuries.
ReplyDeleteGiants are taking the bears into overtime
ReplyDeletewow Cards beat the Packers. I bet McCarthy gets canned
ReplyDelete.500
ReplyDeleteEven Steven, who'd thunk
DeleteNot me. We may avoid another losing season which would've made it two in a row for first time in a long time. Playoffs are a dream though. In fact, we wouldn't get far anyway, IMO. If we hadll the guys on IR, I might be more optimistic.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. The only good team in the AFC that will be in the playoffs we have’t played is New England. We competed against KC both times and could easily have won both games. We beat Pittsburgh. We beat the Chargers. Should have beat Houston.
DeleteWe can compete with pretty much anyone in the AFC I think if we play well.
And honesty, I could see us winning out and being 10-6.
DeleteChris Harris has a broken leg... but it's the smaller fibula bone,, not the major weight bearing one. He thinks he can return in 4 weeks but unless we make the playoffs, that means he's done for the year. So glad it wasn't a Tib/Fib break, that takes many months to heal.
ReplyDeleteChargers back in it.
ReplyDeleteI hope Chris Harris can come back.
And yes McCarthy got canned.
No broken ribs for Wolfe, but there is cartilage damage involved. Put a flack jacket on him and send him out there next week! lol
ReplyDeleteLooking at the remaining schedules for the teams ahead of the Broncos in the playoff race, Denver has by far the easiest path - barring injuries (which may skew things differently). That said, if the Bronco do make it in and make a decent showing once in, VJina has a good chance to extend his employment for at least the 2019 season. We have a very young team and players can be more inclined to remain loyal to their first NFL coach... which makes a good case for keeping VJ - IF we make the playoffs. Even if we keep VJ but make changes with assistant coaches/coordinators, etc., (someone/s has to take the fall), IMO we will be seeing Kee again as our starting QB in 2019. 2019 isn't a good QB draft class (but who knows for sure) nor will there be any FA QBs worth pur$$$uing that could be better than Kee. Viewing the near term, we do have a few of our own FAs coming up that will need to be addressed in 2019. We may want to spend 2019 locking those contracts in to solidify the future while also going after draftees and FAs to bolster other weak areas like CB, OL, LB or wherever. If we do well in 2019 in all phases of acquisition and season play, we may be well set up for a multi-year runs at the postseasons after 2019. Damn, wouldn't it be sweet if we repeated our 2018 exceptionally talented draft class again in 2019?
ReplyDeleteIt would be sweeter than Christmas baked treats if we could hit another draft class this year like we did last year!!
DeleteCB Jamar Taylor visited the Broncos today and word is he'll likely be signed if he passes his physical. That means cutting someone or placing someone on IR. VJ stated today that CHj will NOT be put on IR - soooo, who goes?
ReplyDeleteBrandon Marshall is expected to return this week. Good timing.
ReplyDeleteTitans swiped a RB off our PS
ReplyDeletewe signed Taylor today
ReplyDeleteand released Cyrus Kouandjio
DeleteChubb is 5 sacks away from breaking the rookie sack record of 14.5 held by Jevon Kearse.
ReplyDeleteRotoworld writers obviously thought the Redskins should've signed Kapernick instead. Funny stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd have already signed Andre Holmes (Bills waived him).
ReplyDeleteCrap. Terrible news.
ReplyDeleteHadn't thought about next year. YA that's pretty much a one year rehab from when the surgery happens, from the three people who I know that did the same thing. Although I'm sure he'll have much better docs and rehab than any of my fiends did.
ReplyDeletefiends or friends, depending on the day!
ReplyDeleteSucks about HeMman-uel Sanders but hey, we've had a shitload of serious injuries this year and we're still kicking. 2019 is Sanders final contract year when he is scheduled to make his highest salary $10.25M. There is something in his 4 year contract that provides some sorta option to be released after the first 3 years (end of this season). With the injury, age and contract, we may have seen Sanders last game as a Bronco. That's sad... the guy has more guts and resiliency than any player I can remember. Hoping for a full recovery - geez I hate to see this happen to high quality players, or any player.
ReplyDeleteMc Caffery
DeleteMan that is a huge blow. Sutton is going to need to step his game up again.
ReplyDeleteStrangely, I feel confident that the rookies and other youngsters will step up. Sutton will be doubled for sure so Hammilton, Patrick, Cracraft as well as the TEs will need to do more. Kee will need to be on target and on time. Lindsay and Booker can help with some receiving as well as running and Royce with Jano can pound out some yards. Now is the time for our offense to really gel as a unit behind solid blocking from our makeshift O-line. Yep, I'm confident we got this one... I think.
DeleteYeah we need to move guys around. Sutton shouldn't just be one on one with Sherman all game.
Delete
