DENVER vs KC for the slim hope.

  1. Schofield completely overmatched. Hardly even slowed him down.

  2. 7-0 KC as they run it down our throats...

    ReplyDelete
  3. No holding? Our d needs to wake up.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm out, too depressing and still in the 1st qtr. I'm gonna have to do some serious cheering, so no time to post my bitches. Good luck Broncos, we need this one for even a shot.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Its going to be our normal strategy. Fall behind big early and then try to win in the last 5 minutes

    ReplyDelete
  6. Glad Raymond is back there though.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Has anyone mentioned that our O line sucks?

    ReplyDelete
  8. No one on the line blocked that play. 3 guys put pressure on TS

    ReplyDelete
  9. 3 passes, 3 and out, how about we just run.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because running is starting to work so they stop doing it.

  11. Parks and Simmons are no match for Kelce

    ReplyDelete
  12. It's time to return to the family on Christmas night. Maybe that will change the momentum. Go Broncos!

    ReplyDelete
  13. D finally getting us back into it. Good Td.

    ReplyDelete
  14. And the te goes 80. D needs to wake up.

    ReplyDelete
  15. They need to put Harris or Talib on Kelce

    ReplyDelete
  16. Where is the safety to stop those big runs? Put talib on Kelce now all night.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Gets 5 secs in the pocket doesn't throw it.

    ReplyDelete

    1. A lot of Trevors sacks are on him holding the ball too long

  18. TS doesnt know how to throw the ball away

    ReplyDelete
  19. If our D hadn't given up 21 in the first fucking qtr, we could be in this.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thats like saying if we had scored 21 points we'd be winning.

      Delete
    2. It is, but we gave up 250 yards in the first and are over 350 before the half.

      Delete
  20. Well that was a fantastic first quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Got to say I've liked some of our play calling, screen, draw and flea flick all stuff we haven't seen this year.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We did some good things last week in the first half last week too but we couldn't score.

      Delete
  22. Offensive line is clearly our main priority in the offseason. Not sure yet if I think we should pick up Okung's option or not. He hasn't been real good.

    ReplyDelete
  23. We should just start punting on 1st down and just let them score because thats whats happening anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Smith has 2 incompletions. Thats sad

    ReplyDelete
  25. We need to address the D line too. They are getting dominated

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Some of that is because of the loss of Marshall the past several weeks. We need another Lb to replace Trevathan. We miss him more than I think Elway thought we would. Is he worth the deal he got? Probably not. But we didn't have the money to keep him and Jackson. Hope those guys are happy in Jacksonville and Chicago getting whooped pretty much every week.

      Delete
  26. Moving the ball some now. If we can get a TD here, we are still in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I dont understand why they arent calling late hits on QB's anymore. TS has been on his back several times after throwing the ball and there was not a defender in flight trying to sack him. What gives?

    ReplyDelete
  28. As soon as I say we are moving the ball, we stall and have to kick a fg.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Again 3 passes and 3 and out. Run the fucking ball!

      Delete
    2. Booker is looking pretty good but where is Forsett?

      Delete
  29. Wolfe and Webster hurt, our d is struggling for numbers l.

    ReplyDelete
  30. We got this. Got to steal it at the end on the road.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Defense needs a big stop or turnover and offense needs a score.

    ReplyDelete
  32. D struggling with depth at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Now Sly leaving the game. We are dropping like flies on defense.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Got a stop, need a Td to get back into this game.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Still held them. Would be nice to get a score before the half.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Does anyone on our offense know what a hurry up offense or two minute drill is?

    ReplyDelete
  37. 3rd and 1 and we lose three yards and have to punt.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Why can we never pick up 3rd and short? Its embarrassing

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ty missed both blocks on that run play, was a terrible play call, qb sneak maybe

    ReplyDelete
  40. Got a roughing passer pentalty at long last.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I love the aggression but it wasn't 4-1 it was 4-10 lol McManus isn't getting that.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I've made up my mind after that. Kubiak can go. Better now than dragging the club down any more

    ReplyDelete
  43. Kelce, Ware and Hill are killing us. Our D can't stop any of them.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We always struggle with real fast guys, TEs and running QBs. Ware we could handle if we hadn't already been burned by two long plays.

      Delete
    2. Thats qhat yeams have figured out about us. Just run the ball and throw to TE's and RB's and we cant stop it.

      Delete
    3. We didnt struggle against Newton last year in the SB.

      Delete
  44. Pretty shitty first half. Lucky to be down only 11.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Only down 11 thanks to a TO. I know it could be 8. Could also be 4 had Roby made that play. They missed a FG too.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Our run game is still DOA and the pass game is on life support.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That is being generous about the offense.

      Delete
  47. Still trying to figure out why Norwood is on the roster after the past two weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Was a good punt but should have fair catched it

    ReplyDelete
  49. Pretty sure this posession will be a three and out being pinned down deep.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I stand corrected. Sanders with the catch downfield for a first.

    ReplyDelete
  51. We shouldn't pass on first down, just run.

    ReplyDelete
  52. TS is 12 of 29. Wow. Very Tebowesque numbers. Similar results on offense too.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Penalties have killed us all season. Doing it again tonight. Man. At what point do you tell the guys your ass is on the damn bench if you get flagged?

    ReplyDelete
  54. That was a hell of a pass by TS.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Im trying to like Siemian but he makes it hard

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not sure a lot of it is the line. Part of me wants to believe the line is so bad that he has no time, but he holds the ball and takes a lot of stupid sacks. Yes, it is better than forcing something, but throw the ball away out of bounds. Getting sacked 10 yards back doesnt help.

      Delete
  56. What we doing on offense? We just so bad

    ReplyDelete
  57. How many blocks in the back have to happen before they actually call a penalty?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Replies
    1. Rumores have surfaced that Kubiak is going to retire for health reasons after the season.

      Delete
  59. How many holds have to happen against our D line in front of the refs before they call one?

    ReplyDelete
  60. They are only throwing to Kelce and ee still cant stop it

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We changed our coverage some and shut him out there. Nice job buckling down and forcing the punt.

      Delete
  61. Gotta hand it to Wade for keeing the unit playing respectably with all the guys they have lost to injury this season and being on the field for 35 or more minutes a game. They really have played pretty well overall despite the offense. It would be nice to have a lead for a change.

    ReplyDelete
  62. After getting bitched at from the defense and a playoff birth still in play and our offense still doesnt look like they are playing for anything

    ReplyDelete
  63. We are on the verge of going 1-5 in a division that we have owned for the better part of two decades.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Man. I just don't get how bad our offense really is. I would be willing to say that Cleveland has a better offense than we do. We just can't sustain anything. It is very hard to watch. I sit here waiting for the defense to force them to punt or take it away so we can try to come back and we get the ball and do absolutely nothing with it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Like I said we should just punt on first down and save us the embarrassment of watching this train wreck

    ReplyDelete
  66. Im over this season. Elway better fix this. We have a bunch of coaches on the sideline that football has passed them by. We need some one who can call offensive plays from this century and not be so damn conservative and predicable.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Well Raymond had a good return and then yacks it up. Can we have anyone return a kick without fucking fumbling?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Really? Can we just get someone who can just retur kicks without fumbling?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Defense has to be like "wtf do we have to do to get a breather?"

    ReplyDelete
  70. Let's be real, the offense would have gone 3 and out and given straight back.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hell dont put anyone back on punts and make whoever returns kicks to justvtake a knee. I don't care if it is at the 1. It is better than fumbling it away.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Broncos are bleeding menstrual blood....

    ReplyDelete
  73. Oh another catch by a TE. Surprising.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Man, if TS is this bad, imagine how bad Sanchez must have been.

    ReplyDelete
  75. This team is a trainwreck. I hope everyone enjoyed that SB because its gonna take a while to get this team back to that level.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Put Lynch in, let him get his ass kicked for a while so he knows what to expect in 2017

    ReplyDelete
  77. Lost another fumble. Not sure I can watch this offensive circus much more.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Man we bad, Stephenson getting cut.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I think it is safe to say there are several guys who will not be on this roster next year.

    ReplyDelete
  80. We probably wont even have a winning season this year

    ReplyDelete
  81. Replies
    1. That would leave us with about three offensive players.

      Delete
  82. Well we cant have a losing season. So thats a plus.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Good to see the refs are dictating the field position in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Im looking fotward to getting blown out by Oakland with a backup qb. Its pretty bad when Miami can win with a back up but we cant win with our starter.

    ReplyDelete
  85. DT and Sanders have COMBINED for 4 catches and 46 yards. Siemian is 16/38 170, 0, 0. Offense suckes from top to bottom with the top being Kubes/Dennison and the bottom being Stephenson.

The D stunk, D+ is more like it. We deserved every humiliating play. The Champs of 2015 are the Chumps of 2016. Heads need to roll.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Running the clock, we offically given up

    ReplyDelete
  87. Start lynch against Oakland, let's work on next year.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well, it's over.

Let the talk of next year commence. Oh wait, we already did. That's because we all knew how bad we were, we just tried to keep Bob Hope alive.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. LOL! We tried to raise Bob from the dead - along with our o-line, run game and entire offense. Bob just got a 2nd funeral at our expense. KC was the murderer and the gravedigger. Edgar Allen Poe couldn't have written a more horrifying tale but another Poe, with a fat dagger to the heart added comedy relief at the end. What a goulish nightmare! STs were the bystanders to the homocide and the D were the pallbearers. Kubiack was the voodoo witchdoctor without a clue and the fans were the mourners to the death. Elway paid for the funeral with Pat's money and most of the team was simply curious onlookers or paid wailers. Worst funeral I've ever seen...

    2. Fantastic and appropriate analogy 1st. Right on point.

      Delete
  89. And yet our heart is still beating under the floorboards....

    We will be back

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh yeah. We all know they will do their best to put a team together to compete for the SB again next year. They gave a valliant effort this year. Hindsight might change a few things, but in reality, the supposed downfall of Brent leaving was a good move, along with lots of other good moves. I'm confident there will be good moves again.

      On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
      And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
      Shall be lifted - nevermore!"

  90. Talk of lynch starting against the raiders, I don't see why we wouldn't. Let's get a good look at him and get a jump on next season.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. OK, but I still want to kick the shit out of the Raiders, lost season or not!!

      Delete
  91. I'd like to see us beat the Raiders but, I hope we sit all our key starters - the worst outcome would be to lose a player or two to serious injury in a meaningless game. Playing for pride isn't worth it and our pride went out the window piece by piece 5 games ago.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Our Charlie Pride died too along with our Bob Hope?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. We've been playing without Charlie (Pride) on the offensive side of the ball all year! It wasn't until the last game that the D played without him.

      Delete
  93. Bills fired Rex and could move on from Tyler, would we bring him in if we had the chance?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't know. He's been in the league for 5 years and has only started 30 (?) games at QB. That's not a lot more experience than Siemian.

      Delete
    2. I heard we were interested once before. It's possible we still are.

      Delete
    3. We went after him hard before he signed with the bills since he had more chance to start there than here. Had 4 years with ravens (one with kubes) before the last two with the bills. Made the pro bowl last year and his Td-int ratio is pretty good. And only 27. Could be the vet we mentioned above that could push both sieman and lynch. Though I think he could beat those two. Maybe him for a year or two while we groom lynch?

      Delete
    4. 1st is going to get mad at you.

      Delete
    5. No, I won't get mad. I understand the desire for a vet QB. Many have been mentioned or looked at before including Tyrod. His contract is for 5 more years at about $16M to $17+M/ year. Is he worth it? He's got Siemian numbers after 6 years in the league. No doubt the Broncos will bring in a 3rd QB after cutting Davis. Who that will be is anyone's guess. The contract on Taylor seems a bit stiff for a 3rd stringer, starter only makes sense. The fact is, whoever we get isn't gonna do squat with our o-line. If we improve that with $$$ do we have $$$ to throw at a QB and is it even necessary if we improve the line, RBs, TEs etc.? How about if we do all that and still go with Kubes system? We had a better o-line and GOAT QB last year and how was our offense then? Figure it out and if everyone thinks a savior QB is the answer and where our $$$ should be spent, who am I to argue?

      Delete
  94. Siemian named starter, but Lynch may see playing time.

    Sounds like some evaluating time.

There is some truth to what the statements were before the season started about being short on QB experience would be our downfall this year.

  95. Living here in the Dallas area and everytime I wear my Bronco gear someone asks me when Denver is going to trade for Romo. I keep telling them I hope we don't, but everyone here seems to think its a done deal. That's just the ordinary fans, no rumors from the Cowboys organization that anything is going on, just Cowboys fans being their smug ass selves.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I hear that. We have Cowboy fans at work and they keep telling me Romo to Denver is a sure thing. I tell them the same thing you tell the people, "I hope not."

      Delete
  96. No way romo survives behind our line.

I was only mentioning tyrod because the bills are not going to keep him at that contract, it's likely he gets cut. So as a fa we could get him on a nice deal friendly to us.

    ReplyDelete
  97. More roster shuffling today. Is Ware done in Denver now? Kind of like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. We're going to have a different team on the field than the Raiders faced last time.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nixon and Peko called up. The IR list is long. PS is all new guys. Maybe we didn't want anybody getting stolen.

      Delete
    2. Wk 17 will be a trial for next year.

      Delete
  98. A new QB is not what we need or missed this year. Especially not the ones we passed on or the deals fell through. Brent first up, glad he left. Kaep, I wanted for a while, dodged that bullet. Trade up higher for Goff or Wentz? Glad we only traded up for Lynch. Will he ever be great? Probably not. Seems like very few do. Siemian did alright, just not enough for us to not discuss the fact that we have room for improvement. I wish there was a way to see an alternate future had we stuck with Sanchez as the starter.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Qb play wasn't the biggest issue, we may have been able to do more with what we got if we had an offensive line.

      Delete
    2. I was happy with the OL changes last year. They didn't work though. Try again.

      Delete
    3. Okung for Clady was alright, but since Okung signed such a team friendly deal that we can get out of and he supposedly fought with Talib in the locker room, I'd say we let him walk. He had way to many false starts, holds and pressure allowed to be considered worth what his contract will escalate to. Garcia reminds me of Ramerez. Serviceable backup. Paradis is good, but a little undersized and two bad hips. I don't know about Sambrailo. Maybe he can find his spot yet. Have we tried him at LG? If Schofield makes the team next year, I would consider whatever we did this off-season a fail. He is a bust. Speaking of busts, Stevenson was a high priced fail. I haven't seen a RT play that bad since Franklin in the SB and I had to watch it all year. At times I wished for Franklin back. That sums up the main ones. Basically we have nothing but an injured, to light, starting C and a few backup caliber Gs.

      Delete
    4. Two diggers?

I agree digger, both tackles need to go. Try something else there. Ty was the swing tackle this year but next I would try him at guard, schofield is serviceable but can be upgraded. I'd like to see turner, ty, McGovern and schofield fight out the guard spots, maybe with a new rookie. Garcia is only a back up.

Then I'd go heavy on tackles, bring in some vets and draft two high in the draft.

  99. Next season, the Broncos will host the Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, Patriots, Jets, Cowboys, Bengals and Giants.

And they’ll hit the road to take on the Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, Bills, Dolphins, Eagles, Redskins and either the Titans or Colts, whichever of those finishes third in AFC South.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Schedule looks tough for 2017 but you never can tell. Skins, Bengals, Giants, Titans, Colts, Dolphins, Bills and Pats can either be better or worse in 2017. Of course I don't see the Cheifs or Raiders falling off either. Father time may hit Brady like it did PFM and all the other teams are in "upswing" mode. Whether that continues into 2017 remains to be seen - look no farther than the Panthers and Broncos of 2016 for proof.

      Delete
    2. Every year when this comes out, the main thing I look at is how many away games are headed to the east coast. We'll looks like all of the ones outside of our division are.

      Delete
  100. The rumors of kubes retirement continue. I wonder if it will happen after Sunday's game?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I feel bad saying it, but I think I hope he does retire. Keep Wade at any cost and loose most of the offensive coaches. I say most, because there had to be a good one or two on the offensive side out of all of the coaches they have.
